5 Steps to being More Focussed and Disciplined – LIFESTYLE 101’s


The past couple of days haven’t been the best for me personally, productivity wise. I wasn't getting enough done with an ample amount of time even though it looked like I was putting in the ‘hours’.


Guilty as charged. I wasted time. There. I said it.


But I’m gonna make sure it doesn't happen again. To you or me. Seems like I did fall off the band wagon for a moment or two there. And this is me trying to get back on it. You in or you out Gentlemen?


Then without further ado - 5 Steps to Being More Focussed and Disciplined begins NOW!


A.   Take breaks. Funny we’re starting with that. Its always good to take breaks.


Stretch. Listen to some music. Meditate and hydrate.
In order to improve your performance at work, it’s necessary you give your mind a rest when it’s needed.


Your work’s not going anywhere. Your quality will if you push it too hard.


B.   Eat the Frog. An old and tested principle I try and apply. Choose the one task you’re not looking forward to at all. Maybe that task isn't as pleasant but reaps the highest reward.


Either ways. Find it. Do it first thing in the morning.
You're done and dusted with the most difficult part of the day.


C.   A To Do List. Now I know it might sound like a lot of hassle. It ain’t.


When you record your list of tasks to be done on that day, you’re removing the chaos from your brain and ticking them off as you're finishing them.


And while we are at it, here’s another pro tip - whatever you do, think about doing it for yourself first.
Be it my business, my training, my loving, my charity.. I do it all for myself. Is that selfish? Maybe. I don’t know.

It’s one life and It’s your life. The notion that everything you do, you do it for yourself first takes you a long way my friend.


D.   More so than training.. DIET !!


Look at what you eat. Look at it this way. Would you put soda in your car’s fuel tank when it needed more fuel for your trip?

Absolutely Not.

Your body is your car, and your tasks are your trips. Riddle that.
Listen to your body and it tells you what to do when, how much and what exactly it needs.

E.   Ease down. Chill. Relax. Its L I F E.


Above all. Ease into this everyday run called LIFE. All’s good as long as you're having fun.

If you're having fun with your work and your days, you’re set.
