5 Steps to becoming The Alpha Man – LIFESTYLE 101’s




It’s Monday, the 29th of August, 2016, and that’s reason enough to pull up your socks and get your Alpha Game on.


I’m here to talk to you about how you can take your Alpha Game up a notch with the tiniest of changes. These have all been tried, tested and experimented with so there’s nothing left for you to do except soak it up!


Read. Look and Try. See what you like. See what works for you. See what doesn’t. Use what does, throw out what doesn’t. No rules here.


But before I begin let me say this, no one is up on their game all the time. I get beat down all the time and fall off the band wagon. The idea of being on your toes is non-existent to me because firstly, it’s silly and secondly it’s unrealistic.


So do not for a second believe you're lesser than the guy next to you just because you've been off your game for a week.




A Strong Morning Routine

This is a concept I strongly abide in. Research has shown the kind of information you're exposed to early in the morning has an impending impact on your day.


Give your day a kick start by structuring your morning routine. It can be as long as an hour or as short as 5 minutes.
Try and avoid your cellphones - We all have a reflex of reaching out for our phones first thing in the morning.


Let It be. The world is not ending if you don't check your inbox or Facebook for an hour. ( And this is coming from someone whose entire work is setup online )


For instance, my morning routine looks something like this.
I get up between 6 to 6.30 AM. I put on a Progressive House Playlist and make my coffee.
If it’s a cardio day I go for a run for 30 minutes. If it’s not, I meditate for 20.

Post that I prepare my breakfast. At this point I’m extremely careful of what I’m putting in my body - it’s been starving for almost 7 hours when you sleep so whatever you put in it is absorbed right away.

B. Stop Majoring in the Minors.

Ever heard of the concept of eating the frog?


We all have that one activity which seems incredibly daunting and hard. Gives us all the more reason to procrastinate and push it till the end of the day.


Don’t. Prioritise your to do list on the basis of what yields maximum results and do that first.

A To do list is just a get away to declutter the chaos in our brains.


C. Start Indulging in Difficult conversations

Be it at work, or home, or with a friend don't shy away from facing a problem ever. It’ll come up sooner or later so you might as well take care of it now before it gets worse.


Conversations are the doorway to getting to know someone better and possibly opening you up to new avenues and opportunities.


You cannot expect to be in your ball of thoughts and wait for the world to come to you.
If you think something’s not right - Fix it.


D. Fitness

This one is self explanatory. If you're fit, you're happy inside and out. If you're happy inside out you radiate that happiness to others.


E. Visualise

This one’s a bit of a secret. It’s a personal tool that gets me back up always.


Whenever I find myself in a fix, I start visualising myself in the happiest state possible 3 years down the line where I have worked for and gotten everything in abundance - emotionally, materialistically, spiritually.


Taking it up a notch, I use a host of photographs to visualise with. This could be anything from your dream holiday destination, to your car, to your idols.


And It works every single time.
